Subject: Parking Management
Due to the rising misuse of the parking areas at The Mews, we have made some changes to the way parking is
managed. We have registered all parking areas with the Town of Vincent. This empowers the town council rangers to
issue fines to vehicle owners that are misusing the parking areas. It also allows the town council to remove vehicles
from the complex in extreme cases.
Resident parking area rules
- Any vehicle parking in a bay without the permission of the bay holder will be fined without notice.
- Any vehicle parked without permission will be towed away after a period of time at the owner's expense.
- This parking is for use of visitors to the complex only.
- Any vehicle parked in excess of 24 hours will receive a fine.
- Any vehicle parked for 7 or more days will be towed away at the owners expense.
Many of the residential complexes in the local area enforce 4 hour parking in their visitor parking areas. We don't
want to have a system like this as we believe it is too restrictive. However, if the rules above prove to be ineffective,
we may need to adopt this model.
We are also having some issues with people parking in the visitor parking area and leaving to go to nearby
buildings/companies. If anyone notices someone parking and leaving the area, please inform the strata manager
immediately.
