If you are having NBN services connected your provider may ask for access to the communications cabinet.
This is also sometimes referred to as:
- MDF (Main Distribution Frame)
- Communications Room
All approved contractors have the special key that is used to open the cabinet.
IF THE CONTRACTOR DOES NOT HAVE A KEY THEY ARE NOT PERMITTED TO WORK ON THE PROPERTY.
Please inform the contractor / provider that the area is under video surveillance and if they force the door open in any way an incident will be reported to police and the company they work for.
