THE MEWS - PRIVATE APARTMENTS

As a result of the "Charles Street Bus Bridge and Busway" project the verge outside the complex has increased in width.

We have negotiated with Main Roads/York Civil and come to an agreement whereby the project will provide plants and landscaping if we (The owners of The Mews) agree to irrigate and maintain the area.


The following tasks remain to be completed:
- Irrigation to be installed in the new area.
- New irrigation to be connected to the irrigation system inside our complex.
- Plants and trees to be installed by Syrinx Environmental.
- Area to be mulched by York Civil.

Irrigation has been installed in the new area by York Civil.
New irrigation has been connected to our irrigation system.

Plants and trees have been installed.

We have been granted an exemption from the Water Corporation so we can water the new plants daily.

We have scheduled daily watering to occur until the 13th of June when the exemption expires.

Our watering exemption ended yesterday and the irrigation system has been turned off.

Area has been mulched.
