Common areas of the building are powered using the smartpower tariff (attached below). This means that power charges can vary by as much as 400% depending on the time of day power is used.

The main areas of power usage are:

• Lighting
• Pool Filtration
• Reticulation Pump

In an effort to reduce our electricity charges we have changed the times of operation for the pool filtration and reticulation pump to the cheapest smartpower times (9pm-7am).

Given that electricity is one of our major bills, hopefully this will bring down the charges a little.
