This piece of work involves installing isolation valves on all units that do not already have them. The isolation valves will be installed in the plumbing ducts.

Isolation valves enable us to turn the water supply to an individual unit off. They are very important as without them there is no way to turn off the water to a unit if the resident/owner is unavailable or if the internal isolation valve has seized.

We have had many issues in the past where water was leaking inside a unit and we could not contact the owner/resident so we had no way of stopping the leak. Below is an example of one of these incidents where damage to the building occurred, in this case we were lucky the leak was slow and the resident was onsite within a few hours.
